My project for school is to create a guided video tour of the "green" features of our new high school. We are using a video camera and going around to the different aspects of our school including solar panels, an edible garden, and two flush system toilets. We are also adding a verbiage aspect to the tour and will have people speaking at each shot of the video. Our hope is that people will watch this video before they tour our school so they will have an understanding of all the hard work that went into making our school so efficient!

I am currently working on a project in my school dining hall. I am tracking the products that our dining hall purchases in order to find how sustainable they are. The categories that I am researching are miles traveled, if there are any chemicals or hormones in the product, and what materials are used to pack and ship the products to us. The result of the information that I find will be a rating or grade for each of the companies that my dining hall purchases from based on sustainability. This will hopefully make my dining hall much more sustainable.
