Welcome to the Healthy Waters Blog! Our blog is designed to bring new voices and perspectives to our work in restoring and protecting water resources in EPA’s Mid-Atlantic region.
Water sustains us. It’s vital to our communities, our economies, our health, and our ecosystems. And we all have a role to play in making sure that our waters are clean and safe for future generations.
The posts on this blog are written by EPA employees (and occasional guests). They feature what EPA and others are doing to protect water resources in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C., as well as actions you can take to contribute to healthy waters where you live.
We recognize that it takes partnerships to build on our progress in achieving clean water. By engaging and commenting on this blog, you will have a unique opportunity to join the conversation on water issues and help us tackle some of the most current and challenging water protection issues of the 21st century.
Thanks for visiting. We value your feedback and encourage you to comment, subscribe to our feed, and become a vital part of our community.
