		<description><![CDATA[Rather than just spreading  manure on the field, big farmers are spreading costs onto taxpayers.  They do not just concentrate production such as in Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations, they also concentrate subsidies.

Manure is not just a byproduct of production, it is a valuable resource.  It can replace synthetic fertilizers, thus killing two birds with one stone: Waste disposal and fertilizer procurement.   But these are not the  fowls being killed in today’s foul industrial agriculture.  Among the falling  flock is the environment and workers in it, the  poor consumers of substandard food, and tired  taxpayers  supporting factory farming.]]></description>
