Developers talk with federal agencies – what a webinar!
What a great webinar we had today about what the government can do to help developers use publicly-available data. The discussion covered things like how to engage citizens, how to “bake in” data usability, and how to create a sustainable situation so developers are compensated for the solutions they provide. Special thanks to Alex Howard of O’Reilly Media for moderating and to the speakers, Jemery Carbaugh of the Sunlight Foundation, and Michaela Hackner and Kurt Voelker of ForumOne.
Please continue the conversation on Twitter (or follow #greenapps) or in the space below. Tomorrow we’ll write a post here that describes highlights of the webinar – and we’ll upload the video, slides, and transcript on our Webinar site.
