The Kansas River gets sampled with some degree of frequency (at least every two years for the last 6-8) at several sites between here and Lawrence. Additionally, we (EPA R7) have sampled about 30 or so lake around the metro over that same time frame. I’m not sure why that doesn’t find its way into the database/system. Later this year we hope to have a separate page on KCWaters.org that will just focus on Fish Tissue in the metro area. If you are interested in any particular lakes, let me know and I can get you the data.

Is that correct? Also, are state lakes not tested, such as Perry lake?
