They do an impressive job of communicating – from detailed reports of their monitoring data to wading trips for kids to beautiful calendars showing the diversity of the plant and animal life of the estuary.

In all of my federal service I felt most satisfied when I was working with the local citizens that were involved in the NEPs to resolve environmental problems. These citizens were very dedicated in helping their local community.
