You did not address what you did with your discarded clothes, etc. I hope you gave them to “salvation army stores” or “thrift” stores. Was so proud of my grandson at Clemson University who got tired of driving his car around campus and went to the local “thrift” store and purchased a used bicycle. Now as for helping the economy, look at the labels and think how many jobs could be created if just some of the fabric and clothes were manufactured in USA. The textile and apparel industry lost several million jobs to overseas companies.
