Sarah, you have put a really good spin on some of the foremost sustainability, environmental, and health issues of our time. I know that when our group (the American Public Health Association - APHA) gathers in San Francisco in a month, we will have a great opportunity to look at education, research, practice, and policy opportunities. Several sections that I am involved with will have on-the-ground events (tours, action days) that highlight both local and national traction on the topic(s) you enumerate so eloquently. I hope you are there and your built environment- sustainable land use-, environmental justice-, etc. focused colleagues from USC are able to join us.
