Down in Greenwich Village the lines are still there but covered over, the fountain was between the Christopher and West 4th entrances.

I was in NYC for the fourth of July week and was not able to find a single water fountain. With the oppressive heat I was forced to buy bottled water everywhere. Even places such as the Met had no drinking fountain. We need to do more to ensure that drinking water is available easily and freely.
