As local residents, we become so used to seeing them that they become invisible. Incidents like the one you observed serve to make us take a fresh look at our surroundings and pay attention to the ways our surroundings can be improved. Sometimes the fix is something simple – but first, you have to see the issue. Second, you have to make contact with the right person or agency to fix it.
