This is great news for many underserved communities.

However, what is being done to prevent overexposure to environmental pollutants? Are there consequences for states that consistently allow violations of the Clean Water Act, and other EPA regulations? On the other side, will this settlement be a model for other states that are trying to improve their communities as well?

Combining green job growth and enhancing the quality of life of community residents is a great way for the EPA to move forward, especially in these tough economic times. Thank you for such great work!
