This is such an inspirational story. During the time when I finished my degree in Environmental Science, it was difficult to find jobs that appreciated the importance of this field of study. Now with all that is happening in the world, like the latest tsunami that hit Japan and it's ratioactive power plants, people see the value of safeguarding the planet.

Unfortunate for me, I had to explore other professions and slowly drifted away from my first love. I am glad that there people like Marguerite Huber that have decided to stick it through. Can you imagine how the state of our environment and planet would be now if we did not have people like Marguerite Huber who continually pursued this field of study.

I applaud all Environmentalists in their passion and drive to protect our planet. It is to them and the different fields of scientific research that we owe so much of our existence and health we are enjoying today. I hope countries around the world would encourage and promote Environmental Studies for the protection and preservation of our planet.
