This is one of the marvels of the 21st Century that will allow us to go further in many different areas than any one would have dared dream possible back in the last century. But at the same time, the new technology must be used with some caution as to what the long term environmental impacts of it will be. The California EPA is studying this issue. This new technology is something that can benefit everyone but it must be developed and used safely and any waste that it generates must be dealt with safely to avoid any harming of human health or the environment. Best wishes, Michael E. Bailey.
