More high technology without any plan to ease the horrendous traffic problems flying cars would impose on an already overcrowded society. Yet, “a growing economy is a healthy economy” say the commercial pundits. But a growing economy on a shrinking planet has no future. The Earth becomes more toxic every day that growing tons of waste and garbage are not safely recycled. So, the flying cars will soar over a polluted vista of sprawling megalopolies surrounded by mountains of landfill. But that’s unthinkable, so EPA staff simply doesn’t, preferring to dream of a “Jetson” future of high tech paradise.
