Yes, this is #1 on my list! I definitely try to buy things made in the USA.
Also, cooking with “green pans” can also help the environment. I try to cook only with pans from manufacturers that go out of their way to state they are eco-friendly. l
Stay away from cookware that uses PTFE! Not only can it hurt our respiratory systems, but cooking with it can kill pet birds!
PS @ Vick – I seriously hope you are not serious.
With out a doubt, the best answer is to demand organic food and products that are grown and made locally!
singlemost important choice I make everytime im out is that I always pocket my cigarette butts, I never throw them in the street after smoking.
Some smokers probably think Im weird but its a good example to keep the environment clean.

I think my most important change lately was becoming vegan, I did so after reading and no vegan is not the same thing as vegetarian. I think saving the animals helps the environment as well.
The biggest thing we could do for the environment?
