Energy Star is a great program you have for people who need to replace old appliances. It lets you know how energy efficient new appliances are and that can save consumers lots of money on electric and gas bills. Energy Star is a benefit too because it is fair and objective and is not trying to sell any particular product. Still another good benefit with Energy Star appliances here in California and other states as well the gas and electric companies give consumers rebates for butying energy conserving appliances. I have Energy Star appliances and I am very pleased with them and how they work. Best wishes, Michael E. Bailey.
