I'm glad EPA is doing the report and updates because EPA has made it easily accessible putting lots of important information in one spot so it is easier to find. It sounds like I have been noticing some of the same things here in Mission Viejo that you have. One thing is the bees. They seemed to be a lot fewer last year, especially the honey bees. Last year I heard there was some kind of parasite attacking and killing off honey bee colonies. This year so far, there seems to be more bees. This year, I saw a preying mantis in one of the bushes along Oso Creek in Mission Viejo. This is the first time I've seen one so far south. They usually are common in areas like Indiana and around there. Also, I never used to see crows down at the beech, only shore birds. Last fall when we went to Laguna Beach, there were about as many crows on the beach as there were sea gulls. Things are changing with climate change. The EPA Report is a great project. Keep up the good work. Best wishes, Michael E. Bailey.
