Posted on March 4th, 2009 - 10:30 AM
Each week we write about the science behind environmental protection. Previous Science Wednesdays.
For each month in 2009, the Year of Science—we will pose a question related to science. Please let us know your thoughts as comments, and feel free to respond to earlier comments, or post new ideas.
The Year of Science theme for March is Physics and Technology.
What technologies do you use to be more green? What one technology do you hope is available soon?

My biggest wish for green technology is to be able to readily convert algae to energy, especially fuel for automobiles.

Pre-planning, especially when doing photocopies, has allowed me to avoid blank or worthless pages that represent wasted office paper with associated costs. I also 3-hole punch both sides with an oval punch hole and recycle the increased holes which keeps them out of the landfill/recycle operation which are both costly. I want more fresh water storage and would target the waters coming from melting glaciers and polar areas NOW. GO ALGAE!!
